Welcome to the June OA CNMI Newsletter
As we move into June, we turn our focus to Step Six and Tradition Six—both powerful reminders of the importance of willingness and clarity of purpose on our recovery journey.
Step Six invites us to become “entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.” It’s a step that calls us to humility and trust—a gentle but courageous willingness to let go of old patterns that no longer serve us. Becoming “entirely ready” doesn’t mean perfection; it means being open, honest, and willing to grow.
Tradition Six reminds us that “An OA group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the OA name to any related facility or outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property, and prestige divert us from our primary purpose.” This tradition helps us stay focused on what truly matters: carrying the message to those who still suffer.
