Overeaters Anonymous is self-supporting through its grateful members’ contributions. OA’s four levels of service bodies — Group, Intergroup, Region, and World Service — all perform invaluable services towards the goal of carrying the message of recovery through the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of OA.

We support OA through service at meetings, at Intergroup, Region, and at the World Service Business Conference.

When we give money in the Seventh Tradition basket in our home groups, a portion of that money finds its way to the Intergroup, Region, and World Service.

All levels of OA need funds to support their work.

  • Think about how priceless the freedom of abstinence is, and give accordingly.
  • Think about the costs compulsive overeating has exacted in your life, and give accordingly.

OA is self-supporting through contributions at every level of service.

Support Your Local Meeting

Your home meeting depends on member contributions to cover expenses and continue carrying the message locally.

Support Beyond Your Meeting

In OA, service extends beyond individual meetings. Intergroup, Region, and World Service work together to support meetings, provide resources, and carry the message to those who still suffer.

Contributions at each level help ensure recovery is available both locally and worldwide.

OA Region 3

Support OA Region 3

OA Region 3 connects and supports intergroups and meetings across our area. Through workshops, assemblies, and service opportunities, Region 3 helps strengthen recovery, share experience, and carry the message more effectively.

Your contribution helps fund events, outreach, and resources that support OA members and groups throughout the region.

World Service

Why contribute to OA World Service?

While your local contributions support your meeting, intergroup, and region, contributions to OA World Service help carry the message on a global level.

World Service funds OA literature, translations, digital outreach, and resources that make recovery accessible to people everywhere. Supporting all levels of service helps ensure OA remains strong—locally and worldwide.
